The seed for Fësch Haff was planted during a casual conversation over a beer while Manuel and Daryl were studying in Augsburg, Germany. They envisioned a future where fish and plants coexisted harmoniously, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem capable of providing fresh, healthy, and pesticide-free food to local communities. With their shared vision and complementary skills, they set out to turn their dreams into reality.

 

In Meechtem, Luxembourg, the two friends established their first aquaponic system. It was a humble beginning, but their determination and hard work propelled them forward. As word spread about their innovative approach, they gained recognition and support from the local community.

 

In 2022, Fësch Haff took a significant leap forward by relocating to Greiveldange, Luxembourg with the support of a Research, Development, and Innovation Grant by the Ministry of Economy. Here, they built their first greenhouse, proudly named Horizon Farms Greiveldange. The state-of-the-art facility showcased their commitment to sustainable food production and provided a platform for further growth and innovation.
